WELCOME TO AMLOU | EST. 2014 | DENMARK - MOROCCO
“Inspired by History, Designed for Today”
Amlou is a social and environmental responsible business who has chosen to use business as a force for good. We are a family business who are employing and empowering women in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It is our vision to improve the living and working conditions by given work to the women. The women have produced rugs, cushions and other textiles for centuries and our mission is to bring the historical and cultural artwork into the home and the heart of the people.
The leather we use is the remainders from the fashion industry and instead of throwing out we collect and bring new life into good materials that, nobody wants to play with but us. We use everything and transform the remainders from the fashion industry into pure beauties. We can assure you that we thought carefully of every small detail.
Our products are made by hand in a climate-friendly way in according to the world goals of sustainable development and because of that, we produce by order.
We hope you want to walk down this path with us and if you do - know that you just supported a responsible and sustainable production, good wages and working conditions.
We act in accordance with human rights and ask same requirements for our suppliers. We will not accept child or forced labor and we recognize rights for workers. That means none of our workers are obliged to work only with Amlou.
